In this episode of Margolin Minute, MWE’s Alan Materazo talks about the importance of surrounding your small business with a great team.
Margolin Minute: New York’s primary factors to determine domicile
The challenges that I see small businesses facing are having the owner try to manage the different components of a business. In my experience, the small business owner is very, very good at what they sell, what they produce, or the service they provide, but generally not so good at the administration like HR, accounting, legal, IT. One person can't be great at everything. They've got to find the right people to surround themselves with to help them. The solution to that is that the small business owner has to surround themselves with all the right people, all the right professionals, from the attorney, from the banker, and of course, the accountant. When you surround yourself with the right people, you greatly increase your chances of success.
