Donald Karabaich, CPA - Partner

As an accounting and auditing Partner, Don is involved in many aspects of accounting, auditing, tax and business advisory services. Don is Co-Chairperson of the firm’s Manufacturing & Distribution Group and is an active member of the Technology Practice Group. He advises his clients in numerous aspects of business and financial management including operational and internal control matters, mergers and acquisitions, bank financing and loan structuring, implementation of executive compensation programs, profit sharing and 401K plans. Don also assists his clients and high net worth individuals in the implementation of estate and retirement planning and succession planning. He also represents clients on federal, state and local income, franchise, sales and payroll tax examinations.
Don has many years of experience serving clients in the manufacturing and distribution industry with specialties in bottling and beverage and corrugated cardboard companies. He also serves clients in a variety of closely held businesses, including legitimate Broadway Theaters and software development. Don also has experience advising clients in the music and recording industry.
Don holds a Bachelor’s degree from Baruch College and was awarded his CPA in 1997. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Hauppauge Industrial Association (HIA). Don is also active in the Long Island Association (LIA) and with the Long Island Software and Technology Network (LISTnet).
