Alan P. Materazo, CPA
Al focuses on providing high level consulting, accounting and tax advice to clients in a variety of industries – including healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, hospitality and real estate.
A longtime member of the firm, Al is also called upon to tackle special assignments such as workflow analysis, product line profitability analysis, internal control studies and developing strategic plans and financial projections.
Al joined MWE directly upon receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University in 1987 and was admitted to the partnership in 2004.
Al has developed and teaches numerous in-house courses in various audit and accounting areas. directs the Firm’s continuing education program and is a member of the Firm’s Best Practices and Marketing Committees.
His professional affiliations include serving as a Director of the Advancement for Commerce, Industry and Technology and he is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
Al earned a B.B.A in accounting from Hofstra University.
