Terry Strassberg, CPA
Terry practices in the areas of accounting, tax and business advisory services. He has extensive experience with businesses in diverse industries including manufacturing, distribution and retail. Terry serves commercial clients in the many aspects of business and financial management including operations and internal control matters. He advises clients on financial and tax matters including major transactions such as acquisitions, mergers, divestitures and financing.
Terry’s expertise encompasses advising professional service firms on financial, tax and practice management issues. He has assisted clients with international operations, tax and transactional matters. Terry has consulted with clients on restructuring certain business transactions and related documents in order to further insulate the business and its owners against hidden and unforeseen product and other potential liabilities.
He has also been instrumental in guiding the owners of closely-held and privately owned businesses in the development of succession, estate and retirement plans. In addition, he advises business owners on the implementation and design of benefit plans encompassing strategies for individual benefit, compensation and life insurance planning.
Terry is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA). In the past, he has served as Co-Chair of the Accountants and Attorneys Joint Committee and the Executive Board of the Nassau Chapter of the NYSSCPA.
Terry earned a B.S. in Business from Long Island University.
