Gary E. Hershkin, CPA
Gary services clients in both the public and private sectors and he is responsible for the audits of a significant number of employee benefit plans. He is involved in all aspects of client service including accounting and auditing, tax planning and compliance and management advisory services. Gary is also a member of the Firm’s Quality Control Department. He performs pre-issuance reviews of financial statements, as well as consulting with members of the Firm on technical accounting and auditing issues.
Gary’s experience encompasses industries including heavy equipment manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, wholesale distribution, publishing, contracting, leasing and automobile dealerships. In addition to being involved in all aspects of audits, reviews and compilations of financial statements, Gary routinely provides due diligence and advisory services on many financial and tax matters including major transactions such as IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, financing, etc.
Gary is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
Gary earned a B.B.A. from Hofstra University.
